My name is Berdene  and I offer one-of-a-kind desserts out of my  commercial home kitchen in Mitchell, South Dakota. 

 

My passion for baking began at a young age as I was growing up on a wheat farm in Central Kansas. Some of my best memories of my childhood are from the hours I spent in the farmhouse kitchen where I learned my love for all things baking. I vividly remember having to push up a chair to the counter to be able to reach the mixing bowl! I would spend most days scouring the cupboards and drawers for ingredients that I would then bake into a new recipe I was discovering. Growing up around busy farmers always meant that I had plenty of willing test subjects to try my desserts! 

 

From that early age I have continued to explore and perfect my baking style. For over 30 years I have been creating desserts for family, friends, and new clients that have made many occasions memorable and special. I absolutely love creating desserts that not only taste out of this world, but also look elegant and beautiful. Quality desserts that are decadent both inside and out is my passion!
